Future Professionals in our cosmetology program study design, cutting, coloring, multicultural techniques, makeup, fashion trends, business building, and the art of hairdressing in a three-phase program we call Core, Adaptive, and Creative.

• In Core, they learn the basics that let them confidently begin working with guests.
• Adaptive builds on the first phase and adds time management, professional service and retailing skills, and the art of successful communication.
• Creative, the final phase, takes them through advanced hairdressing and chemical work.

Many of our schools offer skin and nail programs. Graduates of our Skin Academy Department have completed the state-required program for becoming a licensed skin therapist. Graduates of our Nail Academy Department have mastered the skills, science, and creativity required by the nail enhancement industry.

In addition, our clubs, student-run programs, and other school activities give Future Professionals the chance to gain advanced technical, creative, networking, and customer-service skills. These programs offer opportunities to participate in real-world events like photo shoots, fashion shows, and retail merchandising campaigns, just to name a few.
