Why is my username different from my user number?
Your username is a special name you create for yourself; you use it with your password to log into the Paul Mitchell Connect Web site. Your username is never shown on the system or revealed in any way.
When Future Professionals register on Paul Mitchell Connect, the system creates a unique user number that becomes their screen name or “handle” on the Web site. The use of a user number instead of their real name protects their privacy and keeps their identity confidential.
What if I’ve forgotten my username or password?
On the home page, click “Forgot your username or password?” and fill in the requested fields. Your username and password will be sent to you by e-mail. If you’ve forgotten your username, password, and security question, you’ll need to reregister.
What should I do if my account is locked out?
Accounts sometimes get locked if you try repeatedly to log in with an incorrect password. If your account gets locked, submit an unlock request by using the “Ask a question?” field at the bottom of this Web page. Be sure to say that you have been locked out and include your username and e-mail address. A new password will be e-mailed to your registered e-mail address.
